We proudly announce the launch of the OpenInvo Studio, a series of innovative workshops geared toward corporations and designed to bridge the gap between the practical and the creative, imparting new skills for better teamwork, problem solving, efficiency, and fearlessness in the office.
Just recently, an article in The Economist titled “The Art of Management” highlighted the ways in which businesspeople can learn a thing or two from the arts, citing the ability to write and tell stories effectively (a key ingredient when it comes to branding) and knowing how to successfully manage less conventional but brilliant people as just a couple of ways that businesses can “benefit by taking the arts more seriously.” You can read the full article here.
Our workshops, taught by a team of accomplished artists and creative professionals, function as a counterpart to the OpenInvo platform. Here we extend our scope beyond our online idea marketplace and into the physical space to bring out the hidden creative talents that so many company employees can tap in to for better productivity and innovation in their roles.
The workshops use creative techniques and methodologies but are very much focused on applying concepts in a way that is adaptable to how people work and do business today. Courses cover one or more of six key subject areas (innovation and design thinking; audio/visual communication; applied math and writing; business relations and communication; teambuilding; public speaking) in surprising and unexpected ways that are sure to inspire companies and their employees to broaden the way they think and be more innovative in what they do.
You’ll find the course descriptions here.
